What do I do for a living: Having 13 years of professional experience in engineering and management. Basically, I am a mechanical engineer but currently working as a project coordinator for IT applications at Bosch.

About your fitness journey: Was not knowing this term until working in an IT industry. Otherwise, since childhood, I used to sprint, run directionless so that no one can catch me. It was fun to run just like that without knowing for what. Also played volleyball in the district level (Blore South) during 1999 and continued until engineering. Then, a midlife crisis for 6-7yrs in settling down career and life. One day (in 2018) saw a poster in Kaapi Katte – Runaddict’s 2nd Annual Run, which made to try 5kms. Finished in 32 minutes easily and took three weeks to recover. Realised, it’s not just a run, but many things are to be considered even to think. Started getting introduced to each & every runner in Runaddicts every weekend and got some knowledge transfer. Then rest is just a transformation journey..

What’s your running goal: To run as long as I can and return when it’s time up!

Why Kayotsarga 3.0: It’s a peace, want to maintain / continue the ritual of yearly running with Runaddicts (missed second edition due to personal commitments). It’s a completely different experience and godly feeling to run back to back days of ultra. Hope the year comes in the near future, where we run in weeks together and have complete trance mode.
